2018/19 Club Championship Match Photos

​A father and son special for the Mens 100 up grand final with Harvey and Thomas Jolly displaying a high level of skill in a very closely fought match. Thomas managed to hold on to his slender lead to the end clinching the title. 

​The Ladies Triples Grand Final between Violet Little/Sandra Knox/Betty Middleton and Gina Gordon/Philippa Saxon/Kelly White was a closely fought match with the lead changing hands twice. Gina, Philippa and Kelly took the title on the last end.

​The Men's Handicap Singles grand final between Harvey Jolly (-10) and Sandy Little (-8) proved to be a very interesting, high quality game with Sandy establishing a 12 point lead. Harvey steadily pulled back the difference to 19 all, and went on to take the title. The match was watched by an appreciative audience shared with the Ladies Triples final.

​In the Two Bowl grand final an 8:00 am start saw Eric get away to an early lead, at one stage Eric was 15 to 4 ahead. Thomas worked his way back to the game, getting back to 18 -16 but Eric kicked away again eventually taking victory 25 to 18.  A great game played in good spirits. Well done to both players. ​​The Open Singles grand final between Harvey Jolly and Joe Cusano was a played to a high standard in very good spirit. Joe took an early lead but Harvey clawed it back and continued to edge ahead taking the title. Match date: 14 Mar 2019.

​A very closely fought contest for the Mens Pairs grand final with several changes of lead, resulted in Glen Gordon and Peter Saxon defeating last year's champions Sandy Little and Grant Roberts in a nail biting match decided on the last end. Match date: 11 Mar 2019.

​The mixed pairs grand final between Karlee Moffatt/Tom Jolly and  Phyllis Orr/Tom Gallagher proved to be a very exciting match from the first to last bowls. Getting away to a comfortable lead Karlee and Tom continued to play well. Towards the end of the game Phyllis and Tom made a strong comeback with all players playing exceptional bowls. However, Karlee and Tom were able to clinch their first mixed pairs victory.

​A close start between Phyllis Orr and Sylvia Exton soon saw Karlee Moffat and Margaret Raedel draw away to a comfortable win in the Ladies Drawn Pairs.

​Phyllis Orr and Nora Andrews repeated their triumph of last season by winning the Ladies Pairs against Kelly White and Philippa Saxon. Match date: 4 Mar 2019.

​An unusually quiet audience were totally engrossed in the Ladies Singles grand final between Phyllis Orr and Gina Gordon. A close game throughout, Gina pulled out all the stops in the last few ends to take the title. Thanks to last year's winner Kelly White for marking. Match date: 3 Mar 2019.

​The Ladies 100 Up final between Karlee Moffatt and Violet Little was an interesting game with Karlee playing her very best and winning the title. Thanks to Phyllis Orr as last year's champion who marked for the game.

​In the semi final of the Ladies 100 Up Karlee Moffatt scored a good win over Philippa Saxon. Match date: 21 Feb 2019.

​Open Singles semi final between Eric Mason and Harvey Jolly. A very competitive game with Harvey winning to secure a place in the grand final. Match date: 20 Feb 2019.

​The mens singles grand final between Tom Jolly and Russell Agardi was enjoyed by an appreciative audience. The game was played to a very high standard with Russell claiming the title. Thanks to Harvey Jolly, last year's champion, who acted as marker. Match date: 10 Feb 2019.

​​​In the semifinal of the ladies pairs Nora Andrews and Phyllis Orr gained a victory over Sue Hughes and Betty Middleton.

​A nail biting finish to the mixed pairs quarter final saw Tom Jolly and Karlee Moffatt win the match against Glen and Gina Gordon on the last end. Match date: Jan 2019.ddleton.

​The mens fours grand final was played with much good spirited humor and banter. A. White, G. Gordon, R. Agardi and E. Mason took the honours. B. McKenna, A. Exton, J. Cusano and T. Jolly were the runners up. Match date: 6 Jan 2019.

​This well supported and very evenly matched mens singles game saw Harvey Jolly winning the last end against Sandy Little to move on to the semi finals. Match date: 6 Jan 2019.

​Eric Mason defeated Peter Saxon to move on to the semi finals of the mens handicap singles. Match date: 6 Jan 2019.

​In a ladies triples match G. Gordon, P. Saxon and K. White defeated  E. Pegg, M. Hill and A. Greenwood. Match date: 6 Jan 2019.

​Karlee Moffatt and Allyn White playing in the second round of the Open Singles with not much separating them on the scoreboard, Allyn managed to get over the line first. Match date: 31 Dec 2018.

​The men's pairs semi final match between the pair of Peter Saxon and Glen Gordon against Russell Agardi and Eric Mason was a very closely fought match with Peter and Glen winning to secure a place in the grand final. Match date: 31 Dec 2018.
