OVERVIEW
Christies Beach Bowling Club is a friendly welcoming place to be. Established in 1968 it has been a vibrant part of our community ever since. Currently there are around 100 members, who all enjoy the community spirit, friendships, facilities and bowling.
Currently the club has three Saturday Teams (open gender), two Wednesday Team (men) and two Thursday Teams (ladies) playing in the Metro Competition. In all about 80 players represent the club each week proudly wearing the club colours. There is a strong social contingent that plays on Tuesdays all year round. Our artificial surface also provides an opportunity to come together and enjoy bowls and friendship during the winter months when a team-based Thursday competition is played to help keep your eye in. Players are welcome to have a roll up any time the club is open. Bowls are available for all beginners to use.
The club has comfortable chairs and tables to relax in and around and a welcoming environment for having a chat or enjoying our bar facilities. The club boasts excellent kitchen facilities and all catering, from tea and scones to a full three course meal can be prepared easily with the equipment available.
